How to take care of a Sea Sponge 

Sea sponges, not unlike loofahs require a little bit of care to prevent any unwanted bacteria. But don’t worry, it’s super simple!

Here is how to easily take care of your sea sponge:

1. Rinse your sponge in cold water before ringing out the excess moisture. 
2. Fill a bowl with a mixture of vinegar and warm water. (The quantity will depend on the size of your sponge, but we recommend a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts warm water.) 
3. Fully submerge your sponge in the mixture and let soak for 2 hours. 
4. Ring out the excess moisture and set out to dry naturally. 
5. Repeat the process once every 2 weeks. 

Tip: Avoid overly hot or boiling water as it will affect the structure and texture of the sponge.
